This guide walks you through installing Corel PDF Fusion on a Windows PC — from downloading the installer to registering the product and opening it for the first time.
System requirements
- Operating system: Windows 7 or later
- Memory: 512 MB RAM (minimum)
- Disk space: ~408 MB of free space for installation
- Internet connection: required for download and product registration
Before you begin
Have your serial number ready if you purchased a licence. If you only want to evaluate the software, you can install it and choose the trial option instead of entering a serial number.
Installation steps
- Download the installer. Save the Corel PDF Fusion setup (
.exe) file to your computer. - Run the installer. Double-click the downloaded file to start setup. If Windows asks for permission (User Account Control), choose Yes.
- Accept the licence agreement. Read and accept the End User Licence Agreement to continue.
- Enter a user name. The name you enter is used as the document "creator" for PDFs you produce.
- Enter your serial number. Type the serial number from your purchase, or select the option to try the product without one.
- Choose the install location. The default folder works for most users — leave it as-is unless you have a reason to change it — then start the installation.
- Wait for setup to finish. The installer copies the program files; this usually takes a minute or two.
Register & activate
After installation completes, follow the prompt to register the product in your web browser. Registration links the licence to your account and enables updates.
Open the program
Launch Corel PDF Fusion from the Windows Start menu (under Corel PDF Fusion). You're ready to create, edit and assemble PDF documents.
Troubleshooting
- Installer won't run: right-click the setup file and choose Run as administrator.
- Serial number not accepted: check for typos and remove any leading/trailing spaces; the number is not case-sensitive but must be entered exactly.
- Registration page doesn't open: confirm you have an active internet connection, then re-open the program and register from the Help menu.
