Step 1: Remove conflicting antivirus
Remove McAfee or any other antivirus already on your PC via Control Panel → Programs and Features, then restart your computer.
Step 2: Redeem your product key
Go to the McAfee activation portal and enter your key: mcafee.com — Activate product key.
Step 3: Select your region
If your country isn’t listed, choose an alternative region — your key will still be added to your McAfee account successfully.
Step 4: Add the key to your account
Enter your email address to add the product key to your McAfee account. If the page language changed, switch it back to English and re-enter the key if needed.
Step 5: Install and activate
Install McAfee and sign in with your account credentials — your product activates using the key you redeemed.
