McAfee Installation Instructions for Android

Part 1: Activate on a computer

1. Go to mcafee.com/activate.
2. Enter your 25-digit activation code and submit. If prompted that the product was purchased for a different region, select Continue.
3. Enter your email address and proceed.
4. Create a password (min 8 characters, with 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase and 1 number).
5. When completing activation, choose “Continue without additional benefits” to skip auto-renewal.

Part 2: Install on your Android device

1. If McAfee Mobile Security is already installed, uninstall it first.
2. Open the Google Play Store and install McAfee Mobile Security.
3. Open the app and grant the permissions it requests.
4. Choose Upgrade → See our plans, then under the Plus plan tap Already purchased a plan.
5. Sign in with the email and password from activation to finish.
