Activation steps
- Find your invite email: after purchase, check your inbox (and spam folder) for the official Microsoft Family invite email.
- Accept the invite: click Get Started in the email — it opens account.microsoft.com/family.
- Sign in with your existing Microsoft account (or create one free).
- Click Join now to join the family subscription group.
- Go to office.com and sign in with the same account.
- Choose Install Office → Other install options and follow the prompts, confirming with Yes when asked.
- Activate: open Word or Excel and sign in with the same account — your subscription is verified automatically.
